Hope Church Singapore Christmas Event!

Today at 12pm went to City Hall MRT to meet with Chia Min for the Christmas event. But due to some reasons, she was not able to make it on time. Instead I met with Nicholas who was with Bryan, Benjamin and Ming Qing. We then made our way to Subway and had our lunch, then Marco came and we went to the Rock Auditorium. There I met with even more people like Karchun, Glen, Shaun and Magdalene.

The event was quite interesting. There was caroling, drama, a life experience talk and more songs. I like the drama performance the best! Although it was a silent one with BGM only, I could tell what is being acted out quite easily. The story was very interesting and nice! Somehow I feel abit like crying =/.

After the event, we talked awhile before going down near the Starbucks Cafe. After talking for awhile, someone reminded Nicholas that I had something to give to Chia Min, and he went to ask her over! I could not speak up....so we just kind of exchanged a look to greet each other, and I passed her the gift I bought for her. She then thanked me! Hohoho!

Sadly, I did not get to interact around much =x. But glad I went for this event, met alot of nice people!

SP Combine Training!

SP Combine Training was pretty fun, the trip there on MRT felt short thanks to Final Fantasy: Dissidia! The usual SP members was there, and I must agree that their techniques are quite good...TP juniors are not bad, but perhaps some of them should be more serious during training to catch the technique better. The free excerise before the end of training was quite tiring for some reasons...And Grace nearly broke the SP girl's arm while doing Shihonage! I was like OMFG! Luckily Grace somehow slowed down and the SP girl had the time to go down properly. The SP girl face was in shock! See la! Tell you all do slowly don't want! Luckily the arm didn't break. So juniors please DO SLOW DOWN until your techniques are better!

After the Combine Training, we rushed down to Tampines for the UOB training. It was pretty fun too! We learn a few new techniques that probably only Senior Class trainings can do. Sad for those who didn't came =P. Oh, and my nose still feels weird after getting elbowed by Kris! I shall try to avoid partnering with her again! =x

OTC!

OTC was quite a good experience overall, it would have been better if not for the long hours without much sleep. We only got to have around 1-2 hours plus of sleep for a few days! Luckily on the last day I managed to catch some sleep while those not doing admin went for the games. Muahahaha!

Joining the Foodmin was quite a good choice I might say, the people that joined was all quite fun to be with. And some had joined before and I learn quite a number of stuff from them. The Programmers and Logistics was also quite a bunch of nice people, but quite a pity Foodmin did not have much chance to interact with them. Programmers was always out to manage the games etc, and Logistics was needed everywhere. Foodmin just stays where the food is and do admin work! The only time we interacted with each other is during the Sub-Comm gathering before the camp, oh well! It was fun while it lasted....now have to wait till FO, where the real challenge being!

Brown-Gold Grading

Yesterday was the date for brown-gold grading. CY, Nafees, Weina, Li Yun, Wei Jia and 2 more people from other CCs went for it. Li Yun was terribly late but luckily she reached in time and escaped from 'suffering' the same fate as Chris and Hui Ying, lolz! 3 of the juniors from TP also came for their blue-gold grading, and they did a good job. Not bad, normal training always not serious but did not throw our faces, good good!

There was 2 person grading for black also, from what I saw....it was quite easy, the techniques we have done before, the only thing is the long duration! 2 hours+! Owned! Should brush up my stamina now, for grading and for chasing! (Nafees should know about this) LOLZ!

Consulted with Sandy and Yongxin about something...And what they told me was pretty useful, even though it is going to be hard to execute. Anyway, even if this bus goes off without me on board, I will chase it till I can't! Hahaha!

Oh and Novena Square the food court's Hotplate is great to eat! Used to eat with Shenglong in our 'emo' corner lolz, and ate it again yesterday, boy was it great!

I will get rid of this problem and continue on forth!

Fate? Destiny?

Why does it always have to go bad just when it turns good?!

Will probably add more....

Juniors' Grading!

Today was the day some of the blue belts go for their blue-gold grading. They were like super nervous for some reason even though its easy =x! Anyway after grading, Kris' and Faith's faces were super pink and the latter red. One too much powder and the other sun-burnt lolz! Don't really know why their faces' colour change so much.

Hui Ying came late and had to do grading on her own. And sadly to say, her grading was the most tiring one! For some reason, she had to do free excerise with 3 or 4 different person, which equals to 6 or 8 times! Lolz! Maybe its punishment for being late =p.

Anyway a brown belt who was only 12 years old came for training today. I can't say her technique is good but she looks quite pretty! Lolz....anyway she is too young already though! Wasted! But she looks older than her age =/. Maybe I should start going for Geylang Serai CC and Saturday's training...LOLZ!!!

Thurs 4th Dec!

Yesterday was abit disappointing when quite a number of people could not, did not go for Kolam Ayer training due to several possible reasons. Why did it had to rain again...damn! Anyway training at Kolam Ayer was quite fun, it was weapon training all the way and wow did time fly past fast! It was faster than the speed of light! Lolz!

After training I kind of consulted with Ruby about something regarding someone...Anyway thats for me to know and you to find out if you want to! By the way, the things Ruby said about me is almost the same as what Regina said about me! Lolz! Oh for those who do not know Regina, she was from Ruby's batch. Anyway I do not think I am going to give up so easily! Hohoho...

As we were eating dinner, Kris and Ruby kind of started talking about certain stuff...and they misinterpret something I said and I think I am gonna get bombed by it soon...Lolz!

Oh and good news! Ruby said Sarah is coming back for training! It will be nice to see her again, have not seen her since she graduated. And Kris said she is going to try ask some of the girls that left the club to come back again, let's hope she succeeds! It will good to see them back again too!

For those going for Blue-gold, good luck! Try not to worry so much, failing rate is 1%! And its quite easy too =P

As people said "When the time is ripe, attack!" and thats what I am going to do soon! Wahahaha!

A experience...

Last week was quite a memorable week for me, as my big uncle a.k.a my god-father (no its not the mafia thing =p) passed away due to cancer. I regret saying that I did not visit him when he was in the hospital or at home resting, I regret saying that I did not spend alot of time with him so even as I am his godson, I am not really close with him at all...Some of the seniors should know I skipped a few trainings to attend his wake as he has daughters only.

The wake was quite sort of a experience gaining kind of thing...As in due to the fact that so far in my life this was the only funeral that I had attended, it is not the same kind of feeling as attending a friend's family member funeral (Touch-wood!). Anyway I am not gonna elaborate on the procedures etc. I did not cry at all...but when he went into the crematorium and everyone started shouting "Get out" etc, the feeling was overwhelming sad. This is something that I would not want to experience...

Nov 20th:Random stuff

Today had PEDrive quiz, the first 14 marks were easy to get, however the remaining 11 marks were hard to get. We were required to use simultaneous equation to solve for Ia and Eo. When I saw it I was like "OMG!" but oh well...

Today's training was good as usual, Ruby came back and led the warm-up, wahahaha! Anyway, I got called to do Shihonage demostration with Sensei again...lolz! I have been doing that for don't know how long already. Thankfully, I did not do the "Randori throw" move which I tend to keep hitting my knee for some reason if I were to get thrown.

The juniors are getting better at both techniques and slamming, thats good! Keep up the good work! But try not to be so kan chiong though....do slowly and correct your technique first! And for those whose legs are hurting due to slamming, try to slam with your body, leg and hand hitting the ground together to even out the impact. Your legs hurt as they are hitting the floor first! Also take note, another cause is "prata-slamming". Due to your body turning when you do slams instead of going straight over your hand, thus your legs will tend to hit the ground first!

Tune in next time for more "LQ on Aikido stuff"....!

It has been 2 weeks+ since I last saw you, someone said you looked troubled/angry. Perhaps, you can tell me? Lolz! (I mean it =p)

Sociology and stuff...

Today in my Sociology tutorial, the class did some work on Deviance and Social Class. And one of the answers to the question "when does deviance become negative" was when the action crosses the boundaries to being 'unlawful'.

However, I found something that I feel is contradicting. One of the theories that explain why people have deviant behaviours is the Conflict Theory. Basically, the Conflict Theory is about how the people with more power in society creates law etc to protect their own positions thus not shifting down to the middle class etc.

So if laws, rules etc that makes certain actions 'unlawful' are made by people who are 'superior', what if those actions are actually 'lawful', and by creating these laws, rules etc aren't the 'superiors' that is 'unlawful'? Anyway I think you all get the point...Lolz!

Anyway today went to watch Madagascar 2 with CY, PY, Nafees, Harith, Wee Teck and Hui Ying. Someone else was 'supposedly' to come too but.....oh well...(So why did I go??!!).Anyway the show was not bad, maybe not as much humour as I thought it would have. Also I didn't watch the first one so I cannot give a comparision.

WHY!

Why do we pay so much money to TP and in return we dun get back things that we should deserve?

What is the money being used for?! The lab computers are not entirely compatible with the subjects we do. For example, a good graphic card use mainly for designing etc are installed in computers that only need to generate a 2D X,Y axis graph! While a lousy graphic card is installed in computers that needs to generate 3D images.

Also we pay school fees, why shouldn't we be able to use the internet?! Oh right! We will just surf the net instead of listening in class! In the end, teachers just do not trust students..!

I do not really know what is the next step to take, perhaps one day I shall attain enlightenment! Will you wait for me?! =S

Not sure give what title...

Firstly, for those did not know...I actually deleted my blog quite a number of days ago due to some reasons...And I put it back on cause some people ask me to. Kris actually said my blog was interesting to read and was threatening to spam somewhere until I put it back on...Lolz.

Anyway some of the people from Aikido should probably know that something had happened a few days ago, around the time i took down my blog. Anyway I shall not elaborated on that particular matter, those who are curious can ask around...Wahahaha!

Oh and for a particular someone...I do hope I did not disturb/offend (or something similar) you too much, I did not mean to...and I kind of want to know how you are feeling and if you remember a certain incident...haha...but it is good if you forgotten about it though...

And I kind of like Revelations 21:6 (correct me if I am wrong), sounds nice...
